Michelle J West is originally from Hertfordshire and moved to Cornwall at the age of eight.

She completed her Beauty Therapy training at St Austell College, where her talent and dedication earned her Beauty Therapy Student of the Year in both 1999 and 2000. In 2001, she expanded her experience internationally with a contract abroad on Carnival Fantasy.

Michelle relocated to Jersey in 2003, initially working in the east of the island before taking the exciting step into self-employment and founding MJWest Beauty, which is now proudly in its 22nd year.

Alongside running her successful business, Michelle also taught both day and evening students at Highlands College. It is through her years of hands-on experience and teaching that Michelle developed her true passion: ensuring every client feels genuinely cared for and valued.
